Destination Spotlight: Hotel Lungarno

Hello everyone! There are so many exciting things going on over here at Ever After Honeymoons, I can hardly stand it! I will spill all the details soon enough, I promise, but until then I have another beautiful Destination Spotlight to share with you all, Hotel Lungarno in Florence, Italy. Situated in a prime location, South of the River Amo, the Hotel Lungarno is just a short walk from the excitement and sights in the heart of Florence and Ponte Vecchio.

The hotel is literally right on the river and most of the rooms have little balconies!

The hotel is also known for its extensive art collection scattered throughout the property

I just love Florence. Be sure to check out Il Santino, a cute little wine and cheese bar that's right down the street from the Hotel.

Real Honeymoon: Cancun

Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! Today, we have a great Real Honeymoon to share with you all. This adorable couple wanted a beachfront tropical getaway that wasn't too big of a hassle to get to and so being from San Diego, Cancun was a perfect destination. They stayed at the Hotel Le Blanc. The property is absolutely stunning and the hotel has so much to offer: great food, amazing pools, a magnificent spa... they even had their own butler! Upon their arrival, the hotel also had a bottle of champange and a delicious dessert waiting in their honeymoon suite!

Beautiful, huh?! Tropical, luxurious, and relaxing, just what they needed for their honeymoon getaway!

Styled Travels - Floppy Hats

Happy Friday everyone! Today, I am super excited about starting a new Friday feature called "Styled Travels." For my first Styled Travels post, I am featuring one of my favorite traveling accessories, the retro-inspired floppy hat. What I love most about big floppy hats is the glamorous feeling that comes along with dawning one of these stylish gems. Moreover, there's nothing worse than getting sunburned, especially on your face. So why sport a plain old ball cap when you can rock one of these adorable hats?! Destination Spotlight: Cocoa Island Maldives

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you all have had a fantastic week thus far. Today's Destination Spotlight is one for the books, to say the least. The minute I saw this property, it not only went straight to the top of my "List of Places I MUST Travel To" but also went to the top of places I just had to share with all of you! Cocoa Island in the Maldives is basically a private island paradise. Each of the rooms are connected by a wooden walkway that looks into a crystal clear shallow lagoon. Essentially every window in each suite has a horizon view. Oh and did I mention that the overwater suites are made from boats used by local fisherman? So cool! The hotel offers personalized Activity Planners for each guest, as well as exquisite fine dinning and a spa retreat. If that isn't enough to leaving you swooning, check out these images.
